Congratulations to 15 of our Year 8 girls who participated in The Cyber Security Girls Competition!

 

The 15 young ladies from year 8 registered to join the competition on Monday 21st. The girls worked on the challenges in IT1 lunch one with Mrs Bloom, the girls also had to squeeze in going to their assembly practice and inter form during lunch - a very busy week for them!!

 

The challenges were derived from skills used by cyber security professionals. The four key areas covered were networking, logic and coding, cyber security and cryptography. The girls did an amazing job answering brutal questions which most adults would struggle to answer. We are very proud of all of them.
