Food and Nutrition Lesson from Harrison Catering

A development chef from Harrison Catering worked with the year 10 Food and Nutrition pupils today. He demonstrated a wide range of high level practical skills and went on to prepare, cook and serve 1 meat dish, 1 fish dish and one dessert all with skilful accompaniments. A key focus was higher level skills and excellent presentation. Pupils were actively engaged in both question and answer and testing of the excellent dishes. They made notes during the demonstrations and took photos on their phones of the high quality presentation, they were very impressed with the chef’s work. Natalia Polack said “it was my best lesson ever”
