Posted: 1st July 2020Sarah Owens MP chaired a special CPD event last week on BLM & Anti-Racism.
Ms Gibson was the keynote and spoke about her experiences as a Black Female Headteacher, the BLM movement and how education has a crucial role to play.
Sarah Owens MP was inspired by Ms Gibson and the work we have done on our curriculum in Lea Manor to combat racism. Sarah raised with Government the need for just this kind of action in education & engagement with young people from an early age.
