Lea Manor High School

Student Council

Representing the student voice is a big responsibility that is held by our Student Leadership team. Chosen after a rigorous interview process, each member of the Student Leadership has been placed in the role as we know they are up for the task and can effectively represent their fellow pupils.

The Student Leadership is lead by the Student Council and is split into 5 sub-teams:

  • Eco Leaders
  • Sports Leaders
  • Safeguarding Ambassadors
  • Reading Leaders
  • Year 7 Buddies

Each of these teams will meet with the school's leadership team on a regular basis to help bring about positive changes to the school, directly from the Student Voice.

The Student Leadership and Student Council will be led by our new Head Boy and Head Girl: Kazim and Fatima.

In the Spring Term, the Student Council will be working with Sarah Owen, our local MP, on community funding, as well as acting on issues identified through collecting student opinions. There will also be involvement in the Model United Nations Programme aimed at developing student oracy skills.
