Year 10 Pre-Public Exam (PPE) Timetable
The Pre-Public Exams (PPEs, better known as Mocks) are practice exams for our Year 10 pupils to help them practice and prepare for their upcoming GCSE exams. These exams will be undertaken in full exam conditions and should be treated as if they were the final exams.
The information from these exams is important for multiple reasons:
- They identify strengths and gaps for staff to support pupils moving forward
- They familiarise pupils with the processes, procedures, timings, and expectations of exams
- To support identification of pupils who may need extra support or interventions
- To help make key decisions around foundation/higher tier where applicable
